HE STAYED TWO DOORS DOWN from me. I saw him as I walked upstairs after a long day at work; six/two, mocha-skinned and shining from the sweat of just playing two hours of basketball at the YMCA. He carried his basketball in the crease of his muscular forearm as chiseled as the rest of his body. His cut-off Jordan shirt and shorts showed that he worked out daily, focusing on his calves, thighs and biceps.
I rushed to unlock my door so that he didn’t see me dazzled by his stature. My key kept slipping past the lock as I looked up to see him walking my way. Finally able to stick my key in the lock, I looked up again and caught eyes with the gorgeous man.
His eyes searched my body, from the hair on my head to the warmth between my legs. I broke eye contact as I fell into my foyer. I regained my composure and quickly turned to watch him walk downstairs. As soon as he reached the bottom step, he looked up, as if he knew that I would be looking and boy, was he right about that!
That night as I took a shower, visions of his physique popped in and out of my mind. As the water rolled over my body, I imagined my hands were his and ran them over all the places where I wanted him. Just daydreaming of his touch caused me to come, wanting to do nothing more but to have him deep inside me.
I stepped out of the shower and heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I raced to my door to look out of the peep hole in hopes of getting another glimpse of him, but it was just those obese, loud-talking women who lived across the hall from me.
You are so dumb, I told myself. I couldn’t believe how much of an internal uproar I was making about that man. And I didn’t even know his name.
As I leaned against the door, there was a sudden knock. I looked at the clock and noticed it was 10:00pm. Who was at my door at this time of night? Forgetting that I was still in my towel, I opened the door.
